Registration and Tuition for Music Lessons

We offer every student one free trial class. Come give Music FunTime a try! We are sure you’ll be hooked.

There is a one-time $30 registration fee for new students. Our music lessons are $125 per four-week session.

Your first trial class is equal to the cost of one lesson and is due at time of service.

Music Lesson FAQs

How long is each music lesson?

Each music lesson is a half-hour long. However, you can sign up for as many time slots as you wish.

Are there additional fees for recitals or performances?

No, we do not charge additional fees for recitals or performances. We encourage our students to take the opportunity to showcase their new music skills!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, and American Express.

What is your cancellation policy for music lessons?

If you need to miss a music lesson, you must give us at least 24-hours’ notice, and we will schedule a make-up lesson.

If you fail to provide at least 24-hours’ notice, you will lose the lesson and will not receive a refund. In case of an emergency or sickness, it will be up to the store owner’s discretion.

To withdraw from your music lessons, you must provide 30-day written notice to our lesson desk coordinator – not your instructor.

You will be responsible for paying the music lessons for that 30-day period, whether or not you choose to attend. We will not refund any portion of your tuition for lessons that are terminated early.

Do I have music lessons during the holidays?

House of Music will not have lessons on the following major holidays, and students will not be charged:

  • New Year’s Eve and Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve and Day

Lessons will take place on Halloween and any other holiday not included in list above.

When is the monthly payment for music lessons due?

Payment must be made by one of our two payment programs:

  • ACH Program (automatic electronic debit): We automatically charge any major credit or debit card on the 15th of each month.
  • Security Deposit Program: We require a security deposit for 4 weeks of lessons at the time of registration, along with the first monthly lesson payment. This enables you to pay for monthly lessons in person at House of Music by the first of each month.

All payments made after the second lesson of each month will be charged a $15 late fee. All returned checks for any reason will be charged a $35 returned check fee.
